What the Automotive Customer Experience Template Is

The Automotive Customer Experience Template is a standardized digital form dealerships and service centers use to collect customer contact details, vehicle identification, service requests, test-drive authorizations, and optional feedback in a single record. It combines required consent language, conditional fields for sales or service workflows, and signature blocks to capture customer approvals. The template is intended for repeated use across front-desk intake, service check-in, and pre-delivery inspections to reduce manual entry, enable audit trails, and preserve a clear record of customer decisions and authorizations.

Why this Template Matters for Operations and Compliance

Standardizing intake reduces errors, improves cross-team handoffs, and records customer consent for work or test drives. Built-in conditional fields and audit trails support traceability and help meet recordkeeping and consumer disclosure obligations under federal and state rules.

Why this Template Matters for Operations and Compliance

Teams and Roles That Typically Complete This Template

This template is used by staff across sales, service, and customer relations to collect consistent customer and vehicle data.

  • Sales representatives — log lead details, test-drive releases, and trade-in declarations for sales conversion tracking.
  • Service advisors — record vehicle symptoms, repair authorizations, and preferred contact methods during check-in and repair orders.
  • Customer experience managers — collect feedback, NPS scores, and follow-up routing information for retention and quality programs.

Use role-based fields and conditional logic so each user sees relevant sections and signatures are routed in the correct order.
