Common errors that slow approvals

  • Using a trade name instead of the legal entity name creates verification failures and request-for-correction delays.
  • Entering the EIN with dashes or transposed digits causes automated validation to fail and triggers manual review.
  • Omitting the signer’s job title or providing a signatory without authority requires re-execution with proper authorization documentation.
  • Attaching scanned documents with unreadable text or low resolution prevents identity proofing and lengthens processing times.

Consequences of incorrect or incomplete applications

Delays: Processing may be paused pending corrected submissions
Rejection: Incomplete or inconsistent records risk outright denial
Financial Risk: Payment setup errors can delay disbursements
Compliance Exposure: False attestations may trigger regulatory review
Contract Unenforceability: Unauthorized signers can render agreements voidable
Audit Issues: Poor retention or missing records complicate audits
