What the Business Buttermore Document Is and When It’s Used

The Business Buttermore Document is a standardized business agreement template used to record operational terms between a company and a counterparty, including obligations, payment terms, deliverables, and dispute resolution. It is typically used for vendor relationships, service engagements, and internal business arrangements where a clear written record is required. In the United States electronic execution is generally enforceable under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96) and UETA when state law applies; some jurisdictions and specific transaction types retain limited exceptions for notarization or witness needs.

Why this document matters for business operations

A well-prepared Business Buttermore Document clarifies responsibilities, reduces disputes, and creates an auditable record for compliance, accounting, and risk management purposes.
