What the Business Document Chassm Is

The Business Document Chassm is a standardized commercial agreement template used to record obligations, deliverables, and payment terms between business parties. It combines clear identification of parties, a description of services or goods, performance milestones, payment and invoicing provisions, and signature blocks. The template is suitable for repeat engagements, can be adapted for one-off transactions, and is drafted so it can be completed, executed, and retained in electronic or printed form while preserving enforceability under applicable U.S. e-signature laws.
