What the Business Document COLEMAN Is

The Business Document COLEMAN is a standardized, customizable business agreement template used to record obligations, payment terms, and responsibilities between commercial parties. It consolidates recitals, scope of work, payment and termination clauses, confidentiality, and signature blocks into a single enforceable record. In the United States this type of agreement is typically enforceable when signed electronically under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96, 2000) or state UETA laws; certain categories (wills, court orders) remain exceptions to e-signature use.

Why organizations use the Business Document COLEMAN

COLEMAN standardizes contract terms to reduce negotiation time, improve clarity across departments, and create a single record for compliance and audits. It supports consistent risk allocation and makes it easier to apply redlines, exhibits, and signature workflows while preserving a clear audit trail.

Why organizations use the Business Document COLEMAN

Who typically completes or signs this document

Parties include authorized officers and delegated contract managers; ensure the signer has explicit authority to bind the business before execution.
