Common mistakes to avoid when preparing the document

  • Using ambiguous or inconsistent dates can unintentionally change commencement, extend obligations, and affect statutes of limitation or tax year reporting.
  • Allowing unauthorized signers or failing to confirm corporate authority risks enforceability and can create internal or external disputes.
  • Assuming every clause is eligible for e-signature; certain document types and notices are excluded by statute or agency rules.
