What the Business Document Hershey Is

The Business Document Hershey is a standardized commercial agreement template used for formalizing business arrangements, deliverables, and payment terms between corporate parties and third-party vendors. It consolidates essential contract elements — scope of work, compensation, timelines, confidentiality, and signature blocks — into a single, fillable form designed for both paper and electronic execution. The template is adaptable across industries and intended to be completed with accurate party details and clear dates. When executed correctly, it creates enforceable obligations under applicable U.S. electronic signature laws such as ESIGN and state UETA statutes.

Why the Business Document Hershey Matters

Completed and signed electronically, the Business Document Hershey is generally enforceable under the federal ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96) and state UETA statutes. Certain exceptions—wills, court orders, and some family law documents—remain excluded from e-signature treatment.
