What the Business Document Modiwirjo Is

The Business Document Modiwirjo is a standardized commercial agreement template used to record terms, responsibilities, and deliverables between business parties. It combines identification, scope, payment terms, timelines, and signature blocks into a single, reproducible record intended for operational, contracting, or vendor-management purposes. The template is suitable for transactions that do not require statutory-specific forms and can be executed electronically when parties meet ESIGN and applicable state UETA or ESRA requirements. Proper completion reduces ambiguity and supports enforceability in commercial disputes.

Why this Document Matters and Its Legal Basis

The Business Document Modiwirjo clarifies obligations, payment terms, and timelines to reduce disputes and speed execution. When signed electronically in the United States consistent with the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96) and applicable state UETA statutes, the agreement is generally enforceable, subject to listed statutory exceptions such as wills and certain court filings.
