Practical tips for accurate SP24 completion

Follow these best practices to reduce errors, speed approvals, and maintain an audit-ready record for SP24 executions.

Verify legal names and IDs
Confirm party names against formation and tax records before signing; mismatched names can trigger payment holds or enforcement challenges when resolving disputes.
Use precise dates and formats
Enter dates as MM/DD/YYYY and avoid ambiguous phrasing for deadlines; precise dates prevent disagreements about when obligations begin or when cure periods expire.
Attach required exhibits
Include SOWs, pricing schedules, and acceptance criteria as numbered exhibits so that scope and deliverables are unambiguous and easily referenced.
Preserve the audit trail
Retain timestamped execution records, signer authentication logs, and version history to support enforceability and satisfy regulatory review.
