What the Business GPS Template Is and When to Use It

The Business GPS Template is a structured planning document that maps strategic objectives, measurable KPIs, timelines, and responsible parties in a single, reusable file. It is designed to translate high-level goals into concrete action plans, assign accountability, and track progress over time. Organizations use a Business GPS to align teams, document resource needs, and create a record that supports approvals, audits, and periodic reviews. The template is suitable for internal planning, investor updates, and controlled external sharing using secure electronic signing and tracked distribution.

Why a Business GPS Template Adds Value

A consistent template reduces ambiguity, speeds approvals, and centralizes key details such as objectives, milestones, owners, and budgets. For governance and compliance it creates an auditable record of decisions and signatory approvals, which helps with internal controls and external reporting requirements.
