Overview: What the Business ICCA Document Is

The Business ICCA Document is a formal commercial agreement used by companies to allocate costs, clarify contributions, or document intercompany cooperation and commitments. It typically defines parties, scope of shared services or costs, duration, payment or reimbursement terms, allocation methodology, and dispute resolution procedures. The document is used in cross-entity transactions, joint ventures, or cooperative projects where transparency and an auditable record of obligations are required. When executed correctly it becomes an enforceable contract under general contract law and applicable electronic signature statutes.

Why a Proper Business ICCA Document Matters

A clear ICCA prevents misunderstandings about cost allocation, supports internal controls, and provides a documented basis for accounting and tax positions.
