What the Business Office Memorandum Is and When It’s Used

A Business Office Memorandum is an internal written notice used by organizations to record decisions, convey policy updates, document administrative actions, or route requests between departments. It typically identifies sender and recipient, summarizes the matter, lists required actions or approvals, and records dates.
