What the Business QG Template Is and When It Applies

The Business QG Template is a standardized business qualification questionnaire used to collect structured information about a company’s legal identity, ownership, financial profile, primary contacts, and capabilities. It centralizes entity details, tax identifiers, insurance and compliance attestations, and references so contract teams, procurement, or vendor managers can evaluate suppliers and partners consistently. The template is suitable for bids, vendor onboarding, pre-qualification for projects, and due diligence where consistent, auditable business data is required to move a transaction forward.

Why Use a Standardized Business QG Template

A uniform Business QG Template reduces intake errors, speeds vendor review, and ensures comparable data across submissions. It supports auditability, consistent legal review, and easier cross-referencing against certificates, W-9s, insurance policies, and performance records.

Why Use a Standardized Business QG Template

Who Typically Completes or Requests a Business QG Template

The Business QG Template is used by procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams to qualify vendors, contractors, and partners before engagement.

  • Procurement teams evaluating vendor capabilities and compliance during onboarding.
  • Legal and contract managers confirming entity formation, signatory authority, and indemnity coverage.
  • Finance teams verifying tax IDs, billing contacts, and payment terms prior to setup.

Internal reviewers and external respondents should coordinate on attachments (W-9, COI, financial statements) to complete the qualification package without delays.
