What the Business Roni Document Is

The Business Roni Document is a formal, signable business agreement that includes provisions for remote online notarization (RON) where permitted and for electronic signatures under U.S. law. It combines contractual terms, party identification, signature and notarization blocks, and any required exhibits. The document is used to record transactions, authorize actions, or confirm corporate approvals while enabling remote execution, identity proofing, and persistent audit evidence to support enforceability across interstate and intrastate transactions.

Why this document matters for modern transactions

A Business Roni Document lets parties execute agreements remotely while preserving legal validity under the ESIGN Act and state electronic transaction laws. It reduces delays from in-person signing and standardizes authentication, notarization, and recordkeeping to reduce disputes and support downstream filing or audit requirements.

Why this document matters for modern transactions

Typical users and roles for a Business Roni Document

Common organizations and roles that prepare or sign this document are listed below.

  • Real estate brokers and property managers handling leases, closings, and disclosures — often need notarized acknowledgements and rapid turnaround.
  • Healthcare administrators and practice managers collecting authorizations and business agreements — require HIPAA safeguards and audit trails.
  • Finance and accounting teams processing vendor contracts, invoices, and tax-related authorizations — prioritize accurate identification and retention.
  • Legal counsel and corporate officers executing governance resolutions, POAs, and contracts — responsible for signatory authority verification and compliance.

These user groups rely on clear signature authority, correct notary/Witness entries, and preserved evidence of identity and consent.
