What Business Secretarial Reports Are and why they matter

Business Secretarial Reports are formal summaries of a company’s corporate governance and statutory compliance activity, typically documenting board and shareholder meetings, resolutions, register updates, statutory filings, and key corporate actions. They provide an auditable record that supports legal compliance, corporate transparency, and continuity for officers, in-house counsel, and external auditors. In the United States these reports help demonstrate adherence to state corporate law, internal governance policies, and record-retention obligations required by agencies and regulators.

Why accurate Secretarial Reports reduce legal and operational risk

Business Secretarial Reports consolidate governance actions into a single, reproducible record, improving oversight, audit readiness, and board transparency.
