What the Business Selection Options document is

The Business Selection Options document collects key choices a company makes when forming or reclassifying a business entity, including entity type, tax classification, fiscal year, registered agent, and principal address. It records decisions that affect state filings, federal tax reporting, and operational governance, and provides a single reference for internal records, third‑party service providers, and government filings.

Why an accurate Business Selection Options form matters

Electronic completion is permissible under ESIGN (15 U.S.C. §7001) and UETA where adopted, with narrow statutory exceptions.
