Practical Tips for Accurate and Efficient Completion

Adopt consistent practices to reduce errors, speed approvals, and protect enforceability across engagements using the AFC Bulwa.

Use Consistent Entity Names
Always use the legal, registered entity name rather than a business alias to avoid contract ambiguity. Verify names against formation or tax records before execution.
Number and Date Deliverables
Assign milestone numbers and calendar dates for each deliverable to make acceptance criteria explicit and measurable, minimizing disputes over performance or completion.
Document Authority to Sign
Record the signer’s title and authority to bind the organization; for large vendors or entities, attach a corporate resolution when required to prove signing authority.
Preserve an Audit Trail
Keep a secure copy of the executed document with metadata (signer identity, IP, timestamps) and store it within your central contract repository for searches and audits.
