What the Business Services Agreement for Verizon Is

The Business Services Agreement for Verizon is a formal contract that sets terms between Verizon and its business customers or vendors for the provision of services, deliverables, pricing, service levels, and responsibilities. It defines scope of work, payment terms, confidentiality, intellectual property allocation, warranties, indemnities, termination rights, and dispute resolution procedures. The template is used to document negotiated commercial terms for network services, managed services, equipment provisioning, and professional services engagements. Parties typically attach exhibits for technical specifications, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing schedules to make obligations explicit.

Document data protection obligations clearly
Specify encryption, access controls, breach notification windows, and any required BAAs; include audit and reporting obligations. Clear privacy terms reduce regulatory risk and clarify post-breach responsibilities.
