What the Business Services Argie Is and When It’s Used

The Business Services Argie is a standardized agreement template used to document scope, deliverables, payment, and responsibilities when a business engages a vendor or independent contractor. It consolidates operational terms such as term, termination, intellectual property assignment, confidentiality, and payment schedule into a single, signable record suitable for internal review, client exchanges, or regulatory audits. The form is commonly executed electronically; under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96) and state UETA statutes, properly executed electronic signatures generally have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures for commercial transactions.

Why a Clear Business Services Argie Matters

A concise Business Services Argie reduces ambiguity about deliverables, mitigates payment disputes, and documents legal rights. Clear terms speed approvals, support compliance reviews, and create an auditable record suitable for eSignature workflows under ESIGN and UETA.
