What the Business Services Cantus Is and When It Applies

The Business Services Cantus is a written agreement used to define the scope, deliverables, timelines, payment terms, and responsibilities between a services provider and a business client. It structures operational details, risk allocation, confidentiality, and acceptance criteria so parties share a clear baseline for performance and invoicing over the contract term.

Why a Clear Business Services Cantus Matters

A precise Business Services Cantus reduces disputes, clarifies billing and deliverables, and documents consent to terms. When executed electronically it is enforceable under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. ch. 96) and UETA where adopted, subject to statutory exceptions.
