What the Business Services CFX Is and when to use it

The Business Services CFX is a standardized client-facing contract and exchange form used to document scope, deliverables, pricing, timelines, and acceptance criteria for professional services. It consolidates onboarding details, payment terms, confidentiality clauses, and signature blocks into a single record to reduce administrative steps and create a clear audit trail. The form is designed for electronic completion and can be integrated into digital workflows to improve tracking, version control, and compliance with federal electronic-signature frameworks such as the ESIGN Act and state UETA laws.

Why the Business Services CFX matters for operations and compliance

A clear, consistent Business Services CFX reduces misunderstandings about scope and payment, creates a contemporaneous record for audits and tax reporting, and supports enforceability when executed electronically under ESIGN and applicable state law.
