Best practices to ensure accurate and efficient completion

Keep the scope precise
Draft deliverables and acceptance criteria with measurable outcomes and timelines. Clear scope reduces ambiguity during performance reviews and prevents scope creep that can delay payment or create disputes.
Use standardized clauses
Maintain a library of vetted standard clauses for liability, IP, and termination. Standardization speeds review cycles and reduces the need for expensive legal redlines on routine engagements.
Confirm signer authority
Verify each signer's authority to bind their organization before execution. Request supporting documentation or an internal approval log to reduce the chance of unenforceability claims.
