What the Business Services EHV Package Is

The Business Services EHV Package is a standardized set of documents and data fields used to establish, verify, and onboard external vendor or partner engagements in business services workflows. It typically combines identification, scope of services, fee schedules, compliance attestations, and signature blocks so organizations can collect consistent information, establish contractual terms, and maintain an auditable record. The package is designed for both paper and electronic execution and includes provisions for consent, data handling, and optional notary or witness attestations when required by law or internal policy.

Why a Consistent EHV Package Matters

A formal Business Services EHV Package reduces onboarding errors, clarifies responsibilities, and preserves an auditable record of consent and terms across vendors and projects.

Why a Consistent EHV Package Matters

Which Teams Typically Complete or Receive This Package

Different roles complete or review the Business Services EHV Package depending on the organization and the nature of the engagement.

  • Procurement and Sourcing teams review scope, pricing, and vendor qualifications before authorizing engagement.
  • Legal and Compliance teams confirm contract terms, data protection clauses, and whether HIPAA or other controls apply.
  • Operations or Project Managers verify deliverables, timelines, and acceptance criteria before signatures and activation.

Assigning clear ownership for each section reduces rework and accelerates completion across departments.

Field Configuration
Required Fields Enable validation on legal name, TIN, and effective date.
Routing Sequential approvals: Procurement → Legal → Finance.
Authentication Apply email or SMS verification; use stronger methods when required.
Audit Trail Capture timestamps, IP, and signer attribution for compliance.

Digital Signing and Submission Considerations

Use a platform that supports secure eSignature, audit trails, and the integrations your teams rely on.

  • File Formats: PDF and DOCX are standard for upload and signed output.
  • Integrations: Connectors with Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Workspace, or Box reduce manual entry.
  • Security Controls: TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest are expected for sensitive data.

Ensure the selected platform can store the signed package securely, export audit evidence, and meet any required compliance frameworks.

Where to Send or File the Completed Package

A clear routing plan ensures the completed package reaches procurement, legal, and finance records without extra steps.

  • Procurement: Primary repository for contract and SOW tracking.
  • Legal: Keeps executed agreements and compliance attestations on file.
  • Finance: Receives W-9, payment terms, and invoicing instructions for AP setup.
  • Records Archive: Long-term storage location for retention and audit purposes.
