Common Preparation Errors to Avoid

  • Entering informal or trade names instead of the exact legal entity can cause payment and enforceability delays during vendor onboarding.
  • Failing to specify acceptance criteria or deliverable formats leads to disputes about completion and may delay payment.
  • Omitting the signer's title or authority risks later claims the signature lacked authority to bind the organization.
  • Not preserving a verifiable audit trail, including timestamps and signer IP, weakens evidence of consent and may impede regulatory review.
