Practical tips to prepare and sign the Business Services MPACT Group accurately

Adopt these practices to speed review cycles, reduce rework, and strengthen enforceability across jurisdictions.

Standardize party identification and tax information
Use full legal entity names and correct tax identification numbers. Confirm names against government IDs or registration records to prevent payment delays, backup withholding triggers, or later disputes during enforcement.
Attach clear exhibits and acceptance criteria
Make schedules, deliverable descriptions, and acceptance tests part of the agreement. Vague SOW language is a common source of disputes and costly change-orders; precise exhibits reduce operational friction.
Choose signer authentication to match transaction risk
For low-risk agreements, email or SMS tokens may suffice; for higher-risk contracts or regulated industries, require stronger verification such as KBA, SSO, or identity provider authentication.
Preserve a complete audit trail and retention plan
Store executed packets, attachments, and system audit logs together. Include retention metadata and legal basis to support future audits or e-discovery requests.
