Pricing

Approvals

Attachments

List required attachments such as certificates of insurance, W-9, project schedules, compliance forms, or technical specifications. Missing documents can delay execution and payment signing processing.

Common Preparation Pitfalls to Avoid

  • Incomplete party information creates payment delays and may trigger backup withholding if taxpayer identification numbers are missing or incorrect, requiring corrected forms and additional verification.
  • Vague scope descriptions lead to disputes over deliverables, acceptance tests, and change orders; include explicit milestones, deliverable criteria, and excluded items to avoid ambiguity.
  • Failing to specify electronic signature methods or authentication levels can invalidate consent for consumer-facing records; include ESIGN-compliant consent language where applicable.
  • Not attaching required supporting documents such as W-9s, insurance certificates, or permits often stalls approvals and may expose the organization to compliance risk.
