What the Business Services SM2359 is and when it’s used

Business Services SM2359 is a standardized business services form commonly used to document scope, pricing, and delivery terms between a service provider and a client. It typically captures parties, a brief description of services, effective and termination dates, payment terms, and signature blocks. Organizations use this form for procurement, vendor onboarding, statement-of-work attachments, and internal service requests. Where electronic signing is acceptable, the form may be completed and retained as an electronic record consistent with U.S. e‑signature law and applicable regulatory requirements.

Why accurate completion matters for operations and compliance

A clear, complete SM2359 reduces disputes, speeds procurement cycles, and ensures correct billing and regulatory treatment. Properly completed documents support auditability, enable reliable eSignature workflows, and limit administrative rework and backup withholding or payment delays.
