Recommended digital workflow settings

Configure these settings to balance signer convenience and verification strength.

Signing Order Sequential for approval chains; parallel for independent signatures.
Reminders Automated reminders every 3–7 days until completion.
Export Format Save final copy as PDF/A with audit trail attached.

Delivery channels and technical compatibility

Ensure chosen platform supports required audit trails, retention export formats, and any regulatory controls you need.

  • Integrations: Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Workspace, and others.
  • File formats: PDF, DOCX, and Excel supported.
  • Authentication: Email, SMS, KBA, or SSO options.

Common preparation errors to avoid

  • Using informal or abbreviated party names that differ from formation documents, which can cause bank and legal rejection.
  • Forgetting required exhibits or attachments, producing an incomplete agreement and possible disputes over scope.
  • Entering inconsistent dates (e.g., execution date vs effective date mismatch) that create ambiguity about obligations.
  • Assigning signature authority to a person without corporate authorization, risking later challenge to enforceability.

1–5 business days depending on complexity.
