Practical tips for accurate and efficient completion

Adopt standard templates and validation checks to reduce errors, speed review, and support auditability.

Use standardized exhibits
Attach a numbered SOW or rate schedule so scope and fees are always consistent and easy to reference during invoicing or dispute resolution.
Validate signer authority
Confirm signers have corporate authority; require a title and, when needed, a resolution or procurement approval to avoid unenforceability.
Keep version control
Save finalized executed copies in a single contract repository with metadata (vendor, effective date, renewal) for easy retrieval.
Record audit trails
Ensure the eSignature solution captures timestamps, IP addresses, and signer authentication events to support evidentiary needs.
