What the Business Services Stark document is and when it’s used

The Business Services Stark is a standardized service agreement template that organizations use to record the scope, deliverables, payment terms, timelines, and basic compliance provisions for a business services engagement. It serves as a written record of obligations between a service provider and a client, and typically includes sections for parties, effective date, statement of work, fees, billing schedule, confidentiality, termination rights, and dispute resolution. Many organizations adapt the template to their industry and jurisdictional requirements before execution and retention.
