The Business Services T2057 Template is a standardized business form used to document service arrangements, responsibilities, and basic financial terms between commercial parties. It captures identities, scope of services, effective dates, pricing or fee descriptions, and signature blocks for authorized signers. The template is intended to simplify consistent recordkeeping, support internal approvals, and provide a single source of truth for routine service engagements while remaining adaptable to jurisdictional requirements and industry-specific attachments or exhibits.

Common mistakes when preparing a T2057

  • Using informal or inconsistent party names that do not match formation documents, causing identification and payment errors.
  • Leaving the fee or billing schedule vague, which creates disputes over amounts due and timing of payment.
  • Omitting signature authority information so signers lack documented capacity to bind the organization, delaying enforcement.
  • Failing to specify governing law and notice addresses, which can complicate dispute resolution and jurisdictional questions.
