What the Business Strive Package Is

The Business Strive Package is a consolidated set of business templates, forms, and execution instructions intended to standardize common commercial workflows such as client proposals, vendor agreements, onboarding checklists, and compliance attachments. It bundles signature-ready documents with clear field placement, conditional logic where appropriate, and guidance for electronic or paper execution. The package is designed to be workflow-agnostic so it can be completed manually, scanned, or executed electronically while preserving an audit trail consistent with federal e-signature frameworks. Organizations use it to reduce drafting variance and centralize recordkeeping.

Why a Standardized Package Matters

A single, repeatable Business Strive Package reduces drafting errors, shortens approval cycles, and improves legal clarity while aligning documents with U.S. e-signature and recordkeeping requirements such as ESIGN and UETA.

Why a Standardized Package Matters

Who Typically Uses the Business Strive Package

Teams across finance, legal, HR, and sales use the Business Strive Package to streamline repeatable transactions and approvals.

  • Small and midsize businesses standardizing onboarding, vendor contracts, and client proposals.
  • Enterprise teams managing high-volume approvals, required audit trails, and regulatory compliance workflows.
  • Professional services and legal firms generating repeatable agreements and preserving executed records.

Users range from startup operations and procurement teams to regulated organizations that must maintain signed records and audit histories.

Stepwise Process to Prepare and Execute the Package

A consistent sequence helps ensure accurate completion, lawful execution, and complete records for the Business Strive Package.

  • 01
Gather Documents: Collect templates, exhibits, and supporting attachments required for the transaction.
  • 02
Complete Fields: Fill required fields, verify legal names, and confirm dates before circulation.
  • 03
Select Signers: Assign signer roles and choose suitable authentication methods based on transaction risk.
  • 04
Execute & Store: Obtain all signatures, capture the audit trail, and archive the signed PDF for retention.

What the Business Strive Package Contains

The package includes core assets and controls to make documents reusable, auditable, and suitable for electronic execution across teams and systems.

Templates

Standardized contracts and forms preformatted for consistent field placement, conditional logic, and signature blocks to reduce drafting time and improve enforceability across recurring transactions.

Signing Options

Support for in-person signing, signed email links, and remote online notarization workflows where permitted, combined with signer authentication options to meet ESIGN and UETA standards.

Workflow Rules

Prebuilt routing, role-based approvals, and conditional steps so documents follow the correct approval order and prevent missed signers or premature execution.

Compliance

Included clause templates, required consumer disclosures, and retention guidance aligned with U.S. frameworks such as ESIGN, UETA, and HIPAA when applicable.

Storage

Recommendations for secure archival formats, encryption, access controls, and metadata to support audits and legal discovery.

Revision Control

Versioning metadata, change logs, and signature sequencing rules so amendments are tracked and prior versions remain auditable.

Export and Archive Options for Final Packages

Deliver and preserve executed packages in standard formats to ensure interoperability with legal, accounting, and records systems.

PDF/A

Provide the signed package as PDF/A to preserve visual layout and embedded metadata; PDF/A is preferred for long-term archival and supports reproducible presentation in litigation or audits.

DOCX

Retain editable DOCX source copies for internal review and redlining pre-execution, while keeping the executed PDF as the archival legal record.

CSV Exports

Extract field-level data and signer metadata as CSV for bulk reporting, accounting reconciliation, and automated ingestion into ERP and CRM systems.

Audit Reports

Generate a certificate of completion or audit report showing timestamps, IP addresses, signer authentication method, and full action history to support compliance or dispute resolution.

Security and Compliance Controls to Include

Encryption: TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit; AES-256 at rest.
HIPAA: BAA required; supports HIPAA-compliant workflows.
ESIGN / UETA: Compliant with ESIGN Act and state UETA statutes.
Certifications: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified.
21 CFR: Supports 21 CFR Part 11 controls and audit logs.
Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliant.

Principal Risks and Penalties from Errors

Incorrect Tax Info: 1099 penalties range from $60 to $660+ per form.
Missing W-9: May trigger 24% backup withholding from payments.
I-9 Errors: Paperwork violations carry $281–$2,789 per violation.
Unauthorized Disclosure: HIPAA violations can lead to fines and corrective actions.
Invalid Signature: An improperly executed signature can render agreements unenforceable.
Late Filing: Delays in reporting can increase statutory penalty amounts.

Practical Tips to Reduce Errors and Delays

Adopt these practices to improve accuracy, accelerate approvals, and reduce legal exposure when using the Business Strive Package.

Use verified legal names
Enter legal entity and personal names exactly as listed on government ID or official registration documents. Mismatched names often cause tax reporting problems, payment delays, or signature disputes that require re-execution.
Confirm signer authority
Verify the individual has authority to bind the organization. Request a corporate resolution or power of attorney when necessary to avoid post-signature challenges to enforceability.
Apply appropriate authentication
Match authentication strength to transaction risk: simple email or SMS for low-value agreements and stronger methods such as KBA or credential analysis plus 2FA for high-value, healthcare, or real-estate matters.
Consistent retention and indexing
Store executed packages with searchable metadata, version control, and encrypted backups so records are retrievable for audits, discovery, or compliance reviews without manual reconstruction.

Common Submission and Routing Options

Choose a delivery and submission path based on recipient preference, filing requirements, and whether notarization or witnesses are required.

  • Email Link: Send a secure signing link to the recipient's email for remote execution and automatic audit capture.
  • In-Person: Collect handwritten or onsite digital signatures with any required witnesses present and record their names.
  • Remote Notary: Use Remote Online Notarization (RON) where permitted to notarize signatures with audio-video recording and retained session logs.
  • Portal Upload: Submit the completed package to a document repository, vendor portal, or regulatory filing site as required.

Key Deadlines and Timing Considerations

Certain tax and reporting deadlines, plus internal approval windows, determine when the package must be completed and distributed.

Internal Approval Deadline:

Set internal sign-off at least several business days before the external deadline to allow review.

Client Signature Due:

Specify a clear due date for client or vendor signature to avoid execution delays.

W-9 Requests:

Provide a W-9 immediately upon payer request; IRS has no fixed submission date for W-9s.

1099-NEC Reporting:

Recipient and IRS copies are due by January 31 each year for nonemployee compensation.

Tax Return Filing:

Individual returns are generally due April 15; extensions may extend filing but not payment deadlines.
