Use conditional fields and validation rules in templates
Configure the template with required fields, format validation (for dates, TINs, amounts), and conditional pages so incomplete or invalid submissions are prevented before routing for signature.
Capture signer authentication and audit logs consistently
Record signer IPs, timestamps, and authentication method for every execution to support enforceability under ESIGN and UETA and to provide a defensible audit trail in disputes.
Maintain an organized executed-contract repository with version control
Store executed PDFs, original drafts, and related correspondence together with metadata for effective retrieval, record retention compliance, and to support legal hold requirements if litigation arises.
