What the Case Management Duplicate Case Assistant Is

The Case Management Duplicate Case Assistant is a standardized administrative form used to flag, document, and route duplicate client or case records within a case management system. It captures original and duplicate case identifiers, the reason for duplication, custody notes, proposed remediation actions, and approval routing. The form supports consistent audit trails, documents decision points, and reduces reconciliation work when records are merged, archived, or corrected across systems in legal, healthcare, government, and social service settings.

Why a Standard Duplicate Case Assistant Matters

A consistent Duplicate Case Assistant reduces data conflicts, documents authorization for record changes, and preserves an auditable history of remediation steps. Standardization cuts reconciliation time, clarifies accountability, and supports compliance with recordkeeping and confidentiality obligations across departments.
