PARENT-CHILD CONTRACT FOR GRADES This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into as of this       day of       20       , by and between       ,       (hereinafter referred to as PARENT(s)) and       , (hereinafter referred to as CHILD) who reside at       in the state of       for purposes of establishing a system to reward improved grades. WHEREAS, CHILD acknowledges that attendance at all classes is mandatory. WHEREAS, CHILD acknowledges that adherence to all school rules is mandatory. Now, THEREFORE, in consideration of the material promises set forth below the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. This Agreement is comprised of this document and shall incorporate any amendments, provided they are properly written and executed as provided herein. The terms of this Agreement shall control over any conflicting terms contained in ancillary documents. 2. This Agreement shall become effective when signed by both parties and shall continue in full force and effect until       20       . 3. CHILD agrees to maintain at least a “       ” grade average in all classes. 4. CHILD agrees not to “drop” any classes without first notifying PARENT (S). 5. CHILD agrees to adhere to all homework requirements as established by teachers. 6. CHILD shall spend at least       hours per night completing homework assignments or otherwise studying prior to engaging in any extra-curricular activities, including but not limited to, watching T.V., talking on the phone, spending time with friends, etc. 7. CHILD shall abide by the terms of the contract and shall not be granted any privileges until full compliance is made with the terms and conditions as stated. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. 8. Privileges afforded to CHILD are at the discretion of PARENT (S) and shall be as follows:       9. This Agreement may be renegotiated at the following date       20       . Revision or renegotiation is based upon CHILD’S progress. CHILD will earn more or fewer privileges based on behavior demonstrated throughout the duration of time that this Agreement is in effect. 10. Should CHILD choose to break the terms of this Agreement then the following sanctions will apply: a. First time infraction-       b. Second time infraction-       c. Third time infraction-       AN INFRACTION MEANS BREAKING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT IN ANY MANNER, FORM OR FASHION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, EARNING ANY GRADE BELOW A C+, FAILURE TO COMPLETE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, ETC. 11.
