What the Client Signature Registration Form Is

The Client Signature Registration Form records a client’s identifying information, signature method, and consent to receive and sign documents electronically. It establishes the signer’s name, contact details, preferred eSignature method, and any authentication preferences or notarization requirements so organizations can validate identity and retain an auditable record of consent and attribution for future transactions.

Why the Form Matters for Legal and Operational Clarity

Collecting structured signature and consent data reduces disputes over signer identity, documents accepted, and retention responsibilities. It documents intent to sign electronically and supports compliance with federal rules on e-signatures and recordkeeping.
