What the Color Selection Brush Color Form Is and When It’s Used

The Color Selection Brush Color Form is a structured record used to capture precise color choices, specifications, and approval details for brushes, paint mixes, or digital brush presets. It combines swatch references, numeric color codes (HEX, RGB, or Pantone), finish and substrate notes, and requester and approver information so manufacturers, designers, or operations teams can reproduce colors consistently.

Why Accurate Color Selection Matters

Documenting color choices reduces rework, prevents production errors, and creates an auditable approval trail that supports quality control and dispute resolution.

Why Accurate Color Selection Matters

Who Typically Completes or Signs This Form

The Color Selection Brush Color Form is used by cross-functional teams that handle specification, approval, and handoff between design and production.

  • Product designers and colorists responsible for selecting and naming color swatches and specifying finish requirements.
  • Production supervisors and quality assurance staff who verify adherence to color tolerances and sampling protocols.
  • Procurement or vendor managers who accept color samples and confirm orders with manufacturers or suppliers.

The completed form serves as the authoritative color specification for internal teams and external vendors.
