What the Color Selection Confirmation Form Is

The Color Selection Confirmation Form documents a buyer or client's definitive choice of color for a product, finish, or material and creates a clear record of the specification that will be produced or delivered. It typically records the selected color name or code, sample or swatch reference, product/model identifier, order or project number, delivery instructions, and the signature and date of the approving party. The form reduces ambiguity between parties, supports quality control, and becomes part of the contractual file for production, inspection, and dispute resolution.

Why a Formal Color Confirmation Matters

A signed Color Selection Confirmation Form reduces misunderstandings, creates a verifiable record of client intent, and clarifies acceptance criteria for production and delivery. It protects both buyer and supplier by documenting the exact color code, sample references, and any agreed tolerances.
