Use standardized templates
Maintain a single approved template with locked legal clauses and modular sections for scope and pricing to reduce inconsistencies and accelerate reviews.
Validate signer authority
Confirm signer title and authority before sending; a signature from a non-authorized person can invalidate the agreement and delay execution.
Require mandatory fields
Mark name, date, price, and acceptance criteria as required in the form to prevent incomplete returns that require rework.
Preserve audit trails
Retain timestamps, IP addresses, and authentication logs when using eSignature to support enforceability and dispute resolution.
