What the Dairy Promotion Committee Document Is

The Dairy Promotion Committee Document is an administrative record used to govern, implement, and document activities of a dairy promotion program or committee. It typically captures committee membership, meeting agendas and minutes, assessment calculations, budgets, program plans, voting outcomes, and vendor agreements. Organizations use the document to show compliance with governing bylaws, state or federal orders, and to provide an auditable record of decisions that affect promotional assessments or use of checkoff funds. Accurate records support audits, stakeholder review, and future program planning.
