What the Designer White Glove Service Agreement Is

The Designer White Glove Service Agreement is a written contract establishing terms for premium, high-touch design services—often including on-site handling, installation, coordination with third parties, specialized packing, and concierge-level customer care. It defines scope of services, responsibilities, timelines, fees, acceptance criteria, damage and delivery protocols, insurance and liability limits, intellectual property ownership for deliverables, and termination conditions. Use this agreement to set clear expectations between a design firm or independent designer and their client for projects where extra handling, coordination, or high-value items require specific protections and service-level guarantees.

Why You Use a Specialized White Glove Agreement

A focused agreement reduces ambiguity about responsibilities, protects high-value materials, allocates risk, and documents client approvals and acceptance criteria so disputes are easier to resolve.

  • Real estate developers or property managers coordinating staged furnishings and prep.
  • High-net-worth clients or corporate facilities teams requiring insured, on-site handling.
