What the Event Services Etix Agreement Addendum Is

Event Services Etix Agreement Addendum is a contract amendment that modifies ticketing, box office, or service provisions originally agreed with an event organizer and Etix as the ticketing vendor. It clarifies responsibilities for event services such as ticket distribution, fees, settlement timing, access control, and data sharing. The addendum supplements the primary services agreement by documenting changes in scope, pricing, or operational processes for a specific event or series. Organizations use it to ensure consistent financial reconciliation, compliance with venue policies, and clear assignment of indemnity, insurance, and refund obligations between parties.

Why Parties Use an Etix Addendum

Use an Event Services Etix Agreement Addendum to formalize event-specific changes without renegotiating a master contract. It reduces ambiguity over fees, liabilities, and data access, streamlines settlements, and creates a written record that supports compliance, dispute resolution, and accurate financial reconciliation.

Why Parties Use an Etix Addendum

Who Typically Prepares or Signs This Addendum

Venue managers, promoters, box office staff, and ticketing administrators draft or request this addendum when event-specific terms change prior to a performance.

  • Venue operators managing access policies, staffing, vendor coordination, and event-day procedures.
  • Promoters and talent buyers overseeing revenue splits, fees, and settlement timelines.
  • Ticketing administrators (Etix or venue staff) handling data sharing, refunds, and reporting.

Accurate identification of users helps assign responsibilities and ensure signatures come from authorized representatives with proper authority.

Common Signer Roles and Responsibilities

Venue Manager

As the on-site operator, the venue manager approves addendum terms affecting ingress, staffing, and local ordinance compliance. They verify agreed fee structures and sign only if the addendum aligns with existing venue contracts and insurance requirements, coordinating with legal counsel when needed.

Etix Representative

Etix representatives validate ticketing fees, settlement schedules, and data exchange specifications. They ensure payment routing, reporting fields, and box office integrations are reflected, and they provide the ticketing vendor's signature authority or escalation path for disputes and settlement reconciliation.
