What the Facilities Use Agreement Template Is

A Facilities Use Agreement Template is a standardized contract that documents the terms under which one party is permitted to use another party’s physical premises, facilities, or space for events, meetings, classes, or temporary operations. Typical sections allocate responsibilities for scheduling, access, security, repairs, insurance, indemnification, permitted activities, fees, and cleanup. The template can be adapted for schools, municipal buildings, houses of worship, community centers, and private commercial spaces. Using a template reduces negotiation time, ensures consistent clauses, and helps meet recordkeeping and legal compliance requirements.

Why a Standard Template Matters

A Facilities Use Agreement Template clarifies obligations, allocates risk, sets fee and scheduling terms, and documents insurance and indemnity requirements.
