What the Floral Design Service Contract Covers

A Floral Design Service Contract is a written agreement that documents the relationship between a floral designer or vendor and a client for the provision of floral goods and services for an event or ongoing supply. It defines the parties, the scope of work such as designs, quantities, delivery and setup, pricing and payment schedule, cancellations, liability limits, and any venue or vendor requirements. A clear contract reduces disputes by recording expectations, timelines, replacement policies for damaged goods, and the process for changes or additional fees during planning and execution.

Why a Written Contract Protects Both Parties

A clear contract sets expectations about delivery, setup, and acceptance criteria, reducing disputes and enabling enforceable remedies if obligations are unmet. It documents deposits, cancellation fees, and responsibility for damage or force majeure events.
