A written Food Service Agreement clarifies responsibilities, reduces disputes, and documents payment and timing. It protects both the caterer and client by specifying menus, service levels, insurance requirements, and cancellation terms and supports compliance with health, tax, and licensing obligations under applicable state and federal rules.
