University Interscholastic League Football Game Contract Agreement made on the ____________________________ (date), between ________________________________________ (Name of High School at Home) , of ____________________________________________________________________________ _______________________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) , hereinafter called Home Team , and ___________________________________ (Name of Visiting High School) of __________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) , hereinafter called Visiting Team . For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 1. The said parties mutually agree to cause the ____________________ (Name of Sport) teams of the high school of which they are respectively officials to meet at the playing field located at ____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) , on the ____________________________ (date) , and then and there engage in a game of _____________________ (Name of Sport) said game to start at or about ___________ (time) o’clock, ____.m. 2. The above mentioned game of ________________________ (Name of Sport) shall be conducted under the ____________________________________________ (Name of League) rules and regulations in force at the time of the game, with the provisions of which rules and regulations each of the signers hereto declares himself to be familiar. 3. Home Team agrees to provide said playing field for said game, to collect admission fees and to make a business settlement under the terms of this contract within a reasonable time after the conclusion of said game. 4. Home Team agrees to pay Visiting Team t he sum of $__________, or ___% of the gross receipts, whichever is greater, for playing said game. 5. Both parties agree that in case they fail mutually to agree upon officials for said above mentioned game at least 7 days prior to the time set for the game, the Athletic Director of the _________________________________________ (Name of League) shall have authority to appoint the officials necessary for the proper conduct of said game. 6. In case either party fails to produce its team and play the said game on said date and at said place, or breaches any clause of this agreement, the party so in fault agrees to pay to the party not in fault the sum of $_______________ as a forfeit within one week of the date on which said breach of contract shall occur, together with all expenses incurred in pursuance of this contract by the team which is not at fault. 7. In case either the Home Team or the Visiting Team s hall be suspended in the sport of __________________________ (Name of Sport) from the ____________________________ ____________________ (Name of League) , this agreement shall become null and void. 8. Both parties agree to the (1) radio broadcast; (2) telecast; or (3) tape delay of the contest, with the understanding that any income from said broadcast/telecast shall be considered in the gross receipts.
