All Lessees (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Tenant”), are jointly, severally and individually bound by, and liable under, the terms and conditions of this Lease. For the valuable consideration described below, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Landlord and Tenant do hereby covenant, contract and agree as follows: 1. Assignment for less than thirty days rental: this lease is intended to become effective when signed and accepted by the tenant. For purposes of this lease the effective date is the date that the tenancy commences. 9. Assignment for less than thirty (30) days rental but not in this city: a. The tenant's name must be marked on the lease as a party to the lease assignment, and such agreement shall be recorded in the office of the recorder for the county where the premises stand. B. The tenancy will terminate upon the death of either party or upon the assignment of the premises for less than thirty (30) days rental. C. Assignment for less than thirty (30) days rental not in this city: if the tenant agrees to vacate within thirty (30) days of the commencement of the lease, the lessee may thereafter terminate the lease and the personal residence in accordance with the terms of this lease, provided that the lessor shall have first entered into a new written lease, consistent in all material respects with this request or with the provisions of this subsection. 10.
