What the Freight Shipping Application Is and when it's used

A Freight Shipping Application is a standardized form used by shippers, freight brokers, carriers, and logistics providers to request account setup, credit terms, carrier authority verification, and service parameters for transportation of goods. Typical uses include onboarding new customers, initiating bill of lading setup, authorizing billing arrangements, and collecting documentation required for compliance and customs. The form gathers identifiers, contact and billing details, insurance and carrier requirements, payment terms, and any special handling or hazardous materials information necessary to move freight lawfully and safely.
