What the Heating Services Option Is and When It Applies

The Heating Services Option is a written agreement or selection form that documents the scope, schedule, pricing, and authorization for heating system work or maintenance. It clarifies responsibilities between the service provider and the customer, lists required permits or inspections, and records acceptance of terms and any applicable warranties. Organizations use it to ensure consistent project scope, document customer approvals, and create a record suitable for billing, permitting, and dispute resolution. The form may be executed on paper, in person, or electronically under U.S. e-signature law.
