Common Errors and How They Cause Delays

  • Using informal or abbreviated party names that do not match registration records causes verification failures and lender delays.
  • Leaving signature blocks unsigned or undated invalidates execution and can void time-sensitive obligations.
  • Omitting payment specifics or schedules creates disputes over amounts due or installment timing, hindering cash flow.
  • Failing to attach required exhibits, insurance certificates, or proof of authority causes rejected filings and rework.

Penalties and Risks of Inaccurate or Late Documents

Tax Filing Penalties: 1099 late fees $60–$330 per form
Intentional Disregard: $660+ per form with no cap
I-9 Violations: $281–$2,789 per violation
Notarization Errors: May require re-execution and delay enforcement
